Virtual Therapy for
Marginalized People
A Sanctuary for Healing
You deserve to be seen, heard, and valued—for who you are
If you’re here, maybe you’re tired of explaining yourself, tired of code-switching just to feel barely safe, or tired of carrying the weight of a world that wasn’t built for you. You might feel the ache of not belonging—not just in certain spaces, but sometimes even in your own skin. The political climate over the past 10 years has made it harder to breathe, let alone heal. Hate has gotten louder. Safety feels fragile. And no matter how strong you are, some days, the exhaustion is bone-deep.
I hear you and I get it
As a mixed-race Black woman, I know what it’s like to navigate spaces where you’re othered—where you’re too much of one thing and not enough of another. Where your identity is politicized just by existing. Where fear—of violence, of rejection, of losing your livelihood—can live in the back of your mind like a shadow.
This Fight Matters Now More Than Ever
A Different Kind of Therapy Space
Your very existence is an act of rebellion
Since 2016, hate has been emboldened. Laws have targeted your body, your love, the security of your family, and your right to exist. The mental health field hasn’t always been a safe haven for marginalized folks—too often, it’s pathologized your survival or asked you to "transcend" oppression without acknowledging its weight.
I do not tolerate the colonization of therapy
As a leftist in the mental health space, I recognize the nuanced intersections of class consciousness, collective liberation, and the power of radical empathy. I don’t pretend therapy is apolitical—because your life isn’t. I am on a lifelong, dedicated journey of confronting and unlearning my own biases, because…
Your safety in this space is non-negotiable.
Healing That Honors Your Complexity
You don’t have to shrink, perform, or justify your humanity.
Therapy shouldn’t be another place where you have to educate, defend, or compartmentalize yourself to be understood. My work is rooted in the belief that your identities—your race, your queerness, your culture, your class—aren’t just factors in your healing. They’re central to it.
Together, we’ll:
Name the harm—the racism, the transphobia, the systemic gaslighting—without reducing your pain to "just" trauma. Your anger, grief, and fear are valid.
Navigate the cognitive dissonance of living in a world that demands your resilience while denying your humanity.
Reclaim safety in your body—especially when hypervigilance has been necessary for survival.
Explore the intersections of your identity without judgment, because you’re not a checklist of issues—you’re a whole person.
Honor your autonomy—because you’re the expert on your life. My role isn’t to "fix" you; it’s to walk beside you as you reclaim what’s yours.
Freedom for you, by you
Imagine…
Releasing the shame that never belonged to you.
Deconstructing the narratives about your identity that have been imposed upon you
Setting boundaries that honor your needs, not others’ comfort.
Feeling grounded in your identities—not despite them, but because of them.
Letting go of the exhaustion of "proving" your worth.
Finding joy that isn’t tied to productivity, utility, or respectability
This isn’t just about resilience —it’s about freedom. The freedom to be soft when you’re tired. To be angry when you’re hurt. To take up space unapologetically. The freedom to be your most authentic and embodied self in every area of your life
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
If you’re ready to heal in a space that truly sees you—where your identities are celebrated, not just "tolerated"—I’m here. We’ll move at your pace, with deep care for the stories you carry.
Your survival matters. Your joy matters. Your healing matters.
